Allstate provides 15K grant to CME for art kits!

Color Me Empowered (CME) is excited to announce that Allstate Insurance Company will provide a $15,000 grant to fund 300 art kits for CME’s online art education initiatives.

Thanks to the generous grant from Allstate, CME will be able to provide 300 art kits for free to children in need!

This summer, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CME begin offering online art classes to PreK-12 children. The interactive classes are held daily and posted afterwards on CME’s website and YouTube channel.

Accompanying the classes CME created corresponding art kits for each student.

We are very impressed with the programs at Color Me Empowered and the communities they are impacting. We love the idea of providing kids with art kits so they can join on the online Color Me Empowered art classes. We are excited be able to support the CME team to bring art to Dallas communities.

At the heart of our mission is improving our community through art. This is a huge need and we’ve figured out a way to meet it by providing children with art supplies. So many arts nonprofits are struggling to keep their audiences engaged. We’ve found this is a way for us to be an integral part of our community and connect with a larger audience.
